Signal-Panda came out of a pretty simple frustration. People close to me were running rentals and Airbnbs, and they were paying for tools that still left them doing too much by hand. Pricing software was supposed to adjust to demand, but the numbers did not always match what was happening in the market, and bookings were still inconsistent. Bigger property-management platforms helped with some things, but they could get expensive fast, especially when a host only needed a few parts of what those platforms offered.
Cleaning was another thing that kept coming up. Some apps handled rental management but did not have a cleaning workflow that felt useful, while others solved one problem and ignored the rest. I wanted one place for the parts hosts actually deal with every week: pricing, market checks, cleaning, leases, and the small operational details that usually fall through the cracks. Building it has not been as simple as plugging into a few APIs. A lot of the early work meant figuring things out manually, testing ideas, breaking them, and rebuilding until the pieces started to click. Signal-Panda is still grounded in that same idea: if it helps me and the people around me manage rentals with less guesswork and fewer separate tools, then it is worth continuing to improve.
The person behind Signal-Panda and the work of keeping the app useful for real hosts.
